Im home sick with some kind of stomach bug today but this was just the thing I needed to perk up my spirits. So much win here. Wendy Melvoin on her FIRST gig with the Revolution on the night that they just happen to record one of the most epic anthems of the 1980s, Purple Rain. Seriously, 75% of this video is exactly what you hear on the record and you can see it all performed in its raw glory. This sent chills up and down my spine...or maybe I should go check my temperature like Shayna told me too an hour ago. DO NOT NOT CLICK ON THIS.
