Im hoping Ill be as lucky as some others on this so here goes nothing... One of my cats, Samson, got out last Tuesday and took off out the door. He used to be an outdoor cat, and since my dad moved, he has been mainly an indoor cat with the exception of one other occurrence like this about six months ago. My dad used to live on Shenandoah by the middle school between Key and Auburndale and has since moved to Granada between High School and Golf. The other time he got out, he returned to the old house since that is what he knows to be home and the two houses are so close to one another. My dad saw him in the alley between Binkley and Shenandoah on Saturday but was unable to catch him. I have put flyers in mailboxes on both blocks and left my information with University Park Animal Control. If anyone happens to see him or hear of someone who may have taken him in with the weather being so hot, please do not hesitate to contact me. He is a large black and gray (brownish too) tabby, probably between 15 and 18 pounds. He has very large paws and a little white area on his chin. He is not microchipped and does not have on a collar as I was always concerned about him getting stuck on something while he used to roam the neighborhood. I am hoping someone may see him with school starting again or may have other suggestions. Thanks in advance!
