Im in awe of ticket prices for (broadway - ish) shows in LA... Orchestra seats are going for $436.00... The cheapest seats for a lot of these shows are around $80 dollars(where you will sit next to the last usher in the last row and need binoculars)... What is the point of this? Is this why cutting edge shows find it hard to make it to Broadway... Is theater a dying art? What are the poor and middle-class to do? Most actors I know have to be taken to these shows because we simply cannot afford to go... How can this be fixed?
