Im in the process of editing some videos for the upcoming members section of my website, HigginsGundogs . I found an older video with Barry Dworak, HGDH (certified Higgins Gundog Handler) and his dog HGD (certified Higgins Gundog) Gus, working the Magic Brushpile.. This was early in Gus training where he learned to manage the birds and began to trust in the shooter. Hes figuring out that steadiness and trusting in the shooters ability to produce, leads to success (the bird in his mouth). No pressure, no e-collar, no verbal commands, hand signals or whistles are needed. For those of you unfamiliar with my training method, here is a link to a flowchart of the different steps involved.
