Im just laying around this morning in semi-wonderment. My 2 youngest sons have grown closer since they both started playing football together. Theyll never admit it and believe me, they have their flare-ups; I see it though. Yesterday, after a full week of practices and a full morning of the same and a BBQ, they had friends over and played a rag-tag soccer game, basketball, the video games etc. they all just kept going. I have about 3 cases of beer in my garage refrigerator and we jumped out for some food while the boys stayed home. With these kids, I dont even have to think about checking. The only call we got was to bring home Gatorade, Doritos, fresh fruit from Wawa vinegar chips and Air Heads. IF IT WAS ME (back in the 70s) the huh, Not Me Train would have been in the station) This is NOT a crack at any other school - AT ALL! All Im saying is that I see friendships and teammate bonds being formed at NDHS that far exceed my expectations and Im grateful. Ill pop out $24k in tuition there this year and do it with a smile on my face.
