Im just really sad and have chills thinking about Robin Williams. Wish I had something meaningful to say about something so tragic. You wish you could somehow show the artists that you admire what affect their work had on you before they go. I certainly know a lot of his film library holds a special place for me, Aladdin influencing my love of animation, and What Dreams May Come introducing me to how surreal, haunting and unique science fiction can be. Hook has just always been a go to comfort story. While film is always a group effort, his special and direct voice did really push those films for me. Wasnt sure what to say, and Im so saddened to hear this talented person is gone. I hope that at some point he was aware that his work brought comfort, either in the consolation of drama, or in the empathy and escape of humor. Take care Mr. Williams, and thanks for everything.
