Im just writing to express my frustration toward flight centre. and hoping to get it resolved by someone in flight centre. Me and my fiancée booked a flight for our honeymoon on November 2013. Because of our special circumstances where I live in Auckland and my fiancee lives in Seoul, Korea, Ive asked the agent in Flight center to find us the airfares that will get me from Auckland to Seoul, and to the honeymoon destinations and the return flight to Auckland via Seoul on its way. and Ive told the agent my fiancee will be leaving from Seoul and continue the rest of the journey with me. The agent informed me at that time, that I can purchase tickets for myself & fiancee, both leaving from AKL, and prior to departure the agent/flight centre can cancel out the AKL-Seoul flight so my fiancees flights/journey would start from Seoul. So I took the agents words, and purchased two tickets. Now the problem rises when my fiancee found out from a friend, that the airline ive purchased tickets for, Korean air, may cancel out the rest of the journey if my finacee cancels the flight from akl-seoul, as they are bundled product. Which was different from what ive been advised by the agent at the flight centre in the beginning. So ive contacted the agent mentioning what ive heard, and the agent said shell get back to me, and ive contacted the agent every two weeks for update since Jan, and the agent has advised its being looked at but the Korean air is slow to respond. Last friday ive asked for update again, and the agent in flight centre confirmed me that if my fiancee cancels the first flight, the rest of the flights to honeymoon will be cancelled. and that theres nothing much the flight centre can do to fix the issue. Now, Isnt it Flight centres responsibility to provide their customers with correct information before sales? and if customer purchased a ticket, trusting what the flight centre agent has told correct, do you not think Flight centre should do something to fix the mess thats caused by providing false information?
