Im listening to a live version of the Pieces Of Eight record with Todd Sucherman on drums & this band & Todds drumming are a HUGE influence on me as a musician & as a person. I actually got into Styxs music in the 90s when Todd joined the band & Ive been a huge fan ever since. I seen them live once & Im not afraid to admit I cried like a baby. If I was in a position to choose my musical projects Id write music in the style of Styx. The chorus to Blue Collar Man gives me goosebumps every time I hear it.
