Im looking for some advice. I only have a 15 gallon tank as I am a beginner fish keeper and didnt want to take on too much too soon. Anyways I never know if my heater is working properly. I have one of those thermometers that sticks to the outside of the tank. When I first put it on it was reading that my tank was around 80°. Now it never comes up as anything but the green light( indicates that the tank is the right temp) is always on on my heater. Should I be using a submersible thermometer? Im not sure which is supposed to be more reliable.
