Im looking for some good short stories (emphasis on short) that I could use in a unit that focuses on depictions of women in American literature. The author can be either man or woman, and the females in the story can be the main character or a supporting character; it doesnt matter as long as theres something there to pull out about gender roles, structures, oppression, etc. I have a few things I want to use, but I need to flesh the unit out with a few more works. Any help would be appreciated!
