Im looking for some positive feedback from anyone who can offer insight so I can stand up to Honda when I bring my car in on Tuesday. I hate going into the service area because when I do I feel like they see single woman who might not know anything about cars (TRUE) - so maybe we will take advantage of her and do repairs that will cost big $$ as soon as I step out of my vehicle. I have 2006 Odyssey EXL with 113,000 miles and its under extended warrant till August 30th!! I have a shuttering problem the past few weeks in the mornings (car is cold) when the car is going up a slight incline between 28 MPH- 40 MPH. The shutter lasts only a few seconds and then its gone. Its like going over rumble strips. Im trying to be an advocate for myself and try to understand what could be going on with the vehicle. Hopefully, it wont cost me too much to fix whatever problem is (Ive read about motor mounts, Torque converter potentially causing shuttering) Hopefully Honda will do the right thing (use the warranty) VS having me pay high $$ to address this problem. Any insight would be helpful and appreciated! Appointment for service is on Tuesday. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Ive got my boxing gloves on. Thanks everyone.
