Im making a one post exception to not commenting on what Eliyahu - TopicsExpress

Im making a one post exception to not commenting on what Eliyahu Fink does or writes. While I have some strong points of contention with Eli, I am troubled by the way some people have responded to the gathering he helped put together earlier this week. While one can quibble with the details, or wonder what the practical effects might be, I believe that bringing together those two groups of people is important. Please dont complain about Avi Shafran, and how he spoke of Leah Vincent on CC and at the same time, refuse to recognize the significance of them talking to each other. If you want change, dont shoot the people who are trying to make it happen. Think you can do better? Then do so. Additionally, although I dont know Leah, and had positive interactions with her father, the response to her has crossed into real nastiness. Whatever the cause, she went through a lot of pain growing up. There is no need to speak of her in a mean-spirited way. Want to disagree with what I wrote? Please do. Want to say nasty things about either of them? Do not. Those comments are not welcome on this post.
