Im making it official. As of this afternoon, I am no longer a Sheffield United supporter. I refuse to support a club that supports filthy rapists. I have supported Sheffield United for almost fifty years, and had a season ticket for donkeys years. I have followed my team up and down the leagues, and up and down the country. I have followed them faithfully, since 1966. No matter how badly or otherwise they played. They have crossed a line today, in rewarding a rapist with hundreds of thousands of pounds in a contract. They have betrayed myself and other rape survivors in re-employing a rapist, and I am disgusted beyond words. The club I loved, has today become scum.
