Im not 100% sure if this is nursery or school or both (Im not in the UK) but regardless - :( Kids at 2 do not need more structured environments. Yes, there is a wealth of evidence that children from *severely disadvantaged* homes do well when in a high-quality daycare environment. But they are the only group to show an advantage from these larger daycare centres. (Home care, small groups with one-on-one, etc. can show positive effects for various kids.) Would you register your kids in school-based nurseries at age 2?
