Im not a comic creator but I do love comics and I do love going to Planet Comicon. It has happened more than once but today there was a group of creators that raised a stink about cosplayers at cons. Some creators feel that those darn cosplayers dont buy my stuff or they just want attention or they dont know everything about the character they are portraying. The comic that made me a collector was The New Teen Titans #1 by George Pérez and Marv Wolfman and I was very glad to see both of those men comment on facebook today how much they enjoy interacting with cosplayers and how fun it is to see someone cosplaying a character they created. These men made fun comics and made comics fun and it is great to see them have an appreciation for fans that work so hard to create their costumes. I figure that if you pay for your ticket, you can wear whatever costume you want and pose for as many pictures as you want. I dont find anyone quizzing me about the characters on the T-Shirts that I wear. Have fun folks!
