Im not a doomsday zombie apocalypse prepper truther, but I was raised to always have a legitimate plan b in everything. There is a lesson to take away from these Ferguson riots, and its not the race-baiting the media is focused on. (Trust me- Ive been enough places in the world to know that a certain element in society unfortunately comes in all colors, creeds, shapes, and sizes). The take away is that civilization is a very thin veneer. Human instinct is ugly and just looking for half an excuse to get out. When this happens, no civil service is staffed to protect themselves, much less protect or serve you. Have a back up plan. Youre a freakin American citizen- act like it. Weve been mastering resourcefulness and ingenuity and standing fast against adversity for over 200 yrs. We take care of the world. Take a minute to take care of your own. Parents need to stop trying to child-proof the world, and spend their time world-proofing the child.
