Im not a hater, so Im someone who doesnt really have a problem with considering the ideas in this music. I dont agree with the language it bleeps out (because it is offensive and I believe it can easily tear people down in a way that isnt appropriate) and I dont personally believe in the idea of people getting their own clique and their own material possessions, but I find a lot of drive in all of the energy (and the bass gets me pumped). Im not nearly as interested in material possessions. Im sure skeptics would be people like Jim Carry, who make sarcastic jokes about the fast lane. It makes complete economic sense that there would be people who would rather other people get their own material possessions and their own friends, because that is part of what happens when an industry ends up spreading out and becomes regionalized and even globalized.
