Im not a huge fan of George Galloway, but at Fridays debate he was spot on over a number of substantive points: the FSA is a fantasy and a lot of arms and treasure thrown at it ended up with Daa3ish; Daa3ish isnt any sort of army, merely a murderous, sectarian militia swimming in a sea of Sunni pissed-offness; dealing with Daarish should be the job of regional powers (including Syria, Id add); Saudi Arabia is the nest from which the Daa3ish/AQ/FSA vipers emerge to destabilize the region; GCC participation in the attack on Daa3ish is no more than PR; the last thing Britain, France and the USA should be doing is visiting the scene of their 2003 crimes. The responses of his fellow MPs are pitifully weak. I wouldnt at all surprise me if one day a nasty car accident or perhaps a heart attack or terrorist incident were arranged to silence Galloway.
