Im not going to bother reading the whole article, but I wanted to say something here. This is the second time Ive read about herd immunity this month...and Ive never heard about it before. Im not picking a side on this issue, its too messy. I just want to say that if its really that important, then maybe our educators should have been educating us about this while we were young and in grade school, rather than simply saying, you have to do this thing because everyone else is doing it. Your local authoritative regime dictates that you do as youre told. They banked on us all simply obeying without question. If this is a legitimate problem, it might be too late to turn it around without new, tyrannical government policy, Do this or your children will be taken and you will be incarcerated. There is a growing population that no longer trusts the government or servants of the government. The government doesnt have to give us money and free healthcare, it just has to make sure people are educated enough to make informed decisions, not just have the ability to pass a test.
