Im not going to lie, life is pretty good at the moment. Quitting - TopicsExpress

Im not going to lie, life is pretty good at the moment. Quitting uni was one of the best moves I made. I studied film and television and met some great people, I did learn a fare few things, but I have learned a lot more on my own. Ive started my own business with my girlfriend and friends which only has room to move onward and upwards, which it is. I teach film and media at an academy every Saturday which is a dream come true. Im also starting another new job Monday. Ive had the pleasure of meeting the cast and crew of the feature film Banjo, where I was given a great role and another great opportunity. The whole experience has given me even more fuel to feed the fire which is my love for the industry and has given me more motivation to pursue my dream. All of the above is contributing to a portfolio Im trying to build, it is contributing to funding for the film equipment I need and the qualifications I need for film school. My friends, my new connections (also friends) and my family have been another great contribution to my dream, but the cherry on top of this is my partner in crime and best friend Ellen Sidebottom, I couldnt have done any of this without her support. she has stood by me and given me all the support I need and some. without el I wouldnt have the drive I have to pursue my goals. she gives me another reason to go get it. I want to prove it to myself that I can do it, but i also want to prove it to her because I owe her that much. Nothings going to stop me. Also going to be driving by Christmas hopefully, which means im going to be going to whole lot of film festivals :) Im honestly excited for the next 5 years. It just goes to show you a bit of motivation and making sure that you dont let the current system of today define who you are, you can go and get what you want.
