Im not going to speak at my mothers memorial today, so I thought - TopicsExpress

Im not going to speak at my mothers memorial today, so I thought Id write a little. (Im a writer, thats what I do.) My mom was the most beautiful woman the world has ever seen. She was kind & gentle, but not afraid to stand up for what she believed in. She was faithful, not only to God, but to herself and her family. She rarely spoke a bad word about anyone. She always looked for the good in people. She was full of advice, and crap sometimes, too. Lol. She would help anybody. Im thankful that so many people have said My friend, Peg. She loved! She loved deeply & fully! When she met Mike she just glowed! Id never seen two people love and care for each other so strongly. Two halves of one whole! The 5 of us kids; Sheila, Curt, Erica, Cathy & myself; were her most precious jewels, matched, of course, by all of her beautiful grandbabies. I was heartbroken when they moved to KY, but she said that they had raised us kids right and they would only be a few hours away, just in case we ever needed them. Never did I think they would need us! Im 30 now, I had this perfect, wonderful being in my life for 30 years. I would give anything for another day, another phone call, another text. Our parents are not super human, guys. I dont feel like I lost my mom. Shes a with each of us now, and our children. She will guide us & we can talk to her whenever we want. I will never say I loved my mother, because my love for her will never stop. Shes still my best friend. Shes still my confidant. She taught me how to be a great person, how to be a great wife, how to be a great mother. I learned from her mistakes. I adore her. The most beautiful human being to ever walk the earth! & Im not biased! Lol. If you didnt know my mom, Im very sorry for your loss. To know her was truly & wholeheartedly to love her. I know shes in heaven and I will join her when its my turn to go home. Im not crying cause I feel so sorry for you, Im crying for me.
