Im not officially doing the November gratitude thing - I know myself - I will forget after just a couple days. However, today I am grateful for Alfonzo - the crossing guard at the school across the street from the hospital where I work. He always has a smile and a kind word and a hug for anyone who wants one (I always do!) He makes everyones mornings just a little brighter. I strive to live up to his example, though I am not currently anywhere near as successful as he is every day. Thank you Alfonzo!
