Im not one to complain on a public forum at least...but this has been a tough couple weeks- first with my daughter having a major car accident and surgery and now my husband has been robbed of his invite to regionals! Im sorely disappointed in Crossfit HQ- Im one who believes rules are rules and was very pleased that Crossfit HQ stepped up their game this year and required video proof of athlete ability- I wanted it to be fair and square! I just cant believe this one! Not achieving full lock out at the bottom of a muscle up with one, injured arm and proof that range of motion is limited by this injury (by judges and professionals- including one of the top Structural chiropractors in the nation!!), not being no repped by a certified judge (a Crossfit certified and REGIONALS judge!!) and not being able to re-test!! Last year they allowed Josh Goldan to retest 3 TIMES due to lack of full lock out!!! How is this acceptable!? Im sorry, but its bullshit. My husband IS a regionals athlete, he worked his ass off, was honest with ALL his reps, had to re-do this WOD because of a video malfunction and STILL got 192 reps, which should have placed him well within range of making regionals! I get rules are rules and Im not typically one to dispute but this is just truly NOT fair!! Im sick about this :( Sincerely, one pissed off wife and Crossfit athlete. Dre Williams
