Im not pretending to be an admin for this page, or even really involved as anything other than an interested customer who likes what Market Basket has stood for, but Im going to have the nerve to make a strong suggestion to people posting here: Ive seen a lot of comments and a lot of posts that are directly insulting to the current Powers That Be. I understand the anger, but I have to say, I think its really counterproductive for Team Arthur T to conduct themselves that way. Whatever we think of Arthur S, or Mr. Gooch or Ms. Thornton, I think we should address them or refer to them by name. I especially think we shouldnt call them names like sleaze or idiot or whatever else may come to mind. I dont necessarily disagree with those characterizations, but I dont see them as helpful when spoken or printed publicly: They only serve to anger those worthies, and stiffen their resolve against us. That does nobody any good. Lets keep the high ground. Lets keep our discussion positive and civil. I feel strongly that thats the best way to make our points and win hearts and minds.
