Im not sure if the whole contest culture has created this but it seems that since the existence of shows such as X factor, American Idol or The Voice people seem to be extremely judgemental on artist that have already proven their very best for almost 3 decades.. Its seems like people cant wait when a performance gos wrong to absolutely slay them off.. But hey if your watching a live performance from an established artist you cant compare it to the funny first rounds on X factor where producers make tons of money on innocent people because the viewers cant wait for it to go wrong..
