Im not taking sides on this issue. However as a teacher there are some points to ponder in this post. It brings home the issue of how careful teachers need to be. Something a teacher says could be so innocent to them but be hurtful to a child. So often we dont know much about their home situation. Its the same with dealing w people on a daily basis. Often people are very intolerant of any viewpoint other than their own, which is sad. If we could just treat others the way we want to be treated and stop and think before we say or do something the world would be a lot better place.
