Im not typically one to rant but this one has been building for awhile and it is something I see all too often working in this industry and the profession I do and some days it really just annoys me. PURE LAZINESS. Most people wont even bother to read this simply because it looks long. Yes I realise it is in fact human nature, convenience has made majority of the population lazy. But what annoys me is when time after time people tell me how they know what they have to do yet they expect to find some new magic answer instead of simply putting in the effort or applying what they know. People are constantly buying the latest fitness equipment (ab swing anyone) or joining the latest diet fad (low carb, low fat, no sugar). Most people I come across that have been on every diet known to man have never even tried to just eat healthy. They have also probably never seen lasting results. You know what the people you see that are in great shape do? They train hard, they eat foods that nourish and fuel their bodies, they also rest their bodies. They dont do this once a month, once a fortnight or once a month. They dont do it every time Spring hits and they realise Summer is around the corner. They do it year round, week in, week out. They do it CONSISTENTLY. Stop looking for a shortcut, an easy way, a fast track to lose 10kgs or be fit and toned for Summer. You want lasting results? Then start being consistent daily in your nutrition and training. Yes it will take longer but its going to be a hell of a lot quicker and cheaper than buying every new exercise/diet fad for the remainder of your life!!
