Im often amazed with the dirty laundry folks share on Facebook. The reason I choose not to is as follows – continuing the laundry metaphor: We all wear clothes and thus often have some that are needing to be cleaned. Thus, it is a given that you and I have some dirty laundry at any moment. It isnt necessary for me to ask you whether you have any. Now, if I were to ask you what items were in your laundry basket, you would probably find that question a bit off the charts and decline to answer it. And, rightfully so. Those details are not necessary and, to be honest, I have zero interest in knowing. So, now we know everyone has dirty laundry and the details are irrelevant, we dont have to waste any time or energy on the topic and can instead focus on that which truly matters.
