A real pick-me-up! ;-) Truth be told -- there is a world of people whose subconscious agenda is to nurse their wounds -- keep the pain front and center and stoke the fires of unforgiveness. Their hurt has robbed them of any desire for recovery and healing! Failing to forgive will do that to you. Bitterness is like an infectious disease of the soul, running through the bloodstream straight to the heart. It captivates our minds and erases the memory of all that is good about life… clouds our vision so everything is under suspicion -- theres nothing and no one deserving of trust, luring us into a dark dungeon of loneliness! Whats the answer? Stop picking at the wound. Let it scab over and heal. Find a place of forgiveness -- release the person who wronged you. Do it for yourself -- your whole life is ahead of you! Go to God for strength beyond yourself to wipe the slate clean. When you emerge from that dungeon of bitterness, youll find the sun is still shining -- the birds are still singing and life is still worth living! I hope your day is great!
