Im on the fancy government program called unemployment youre familiar with it? The check is direct deposited each week same day unless theres a holiday of course. This week for some unholy reason the check isnt deposited on time. I understand there was a holiday on Monday however it didnt effect the checks from what I was told. Ive had a few checks out there for awhile now & usually pretty good about keeping track but Ive gotten lazy or disorganized or.. Something. Well. The same day that the check usually deposits but didnt is the same day that EIGHT checks clear. Ummm. WTF. Is this some sort of karma for not keeping up with my check register? Those overdraft fees are $30 effing a piece! By the time I got to my account I had a whopping negative $49 :/ I called the bank, asked them to look back & see that the check always goes in on the same day that these checks cleared. The woman gave me a speech that felt like something my mom would have done but.. I took one for the team because she gave me all the overdraft fees back. Phew. What a stressful thing.
