Im on the morning train bound for Helsinki airport to fly to Chicago then home to Columbus. A big thanks to my friends in The Katmandu Blues Band; Robban Hagnäs, Olli Ontronen, Juho Kinaret and Kepa Härkönen for their incredible hospitality in Kokkola and on the road in Finland. We shared the tragicomedy that was The Himalayan Blues Festival back in 2012 and in the last three days wrote and recorded a full CD about it after we played three great shows together! My thanks also to Blues Rupiama, Christian Krisse Elvis Brandt at Hogans and the Corner Pub in Kokkola for the great shows. Ill be posting some photos soon and we are already planning the next round! My thanks also to T. Rogers Band in Hungary, Pascal Delmas and LÉtroit Tours in France and Tonky BluesBand in Spain for great shows in those countries. Some very exciting news is coming from France soon, but time to go home and play some shows in Ohio now, so stay tuned!
