Im optimistic person with an attitude that negativity is a wasted of energy that can best be focus on finding some solutions to some of our community issues. I understand that there are some very important races starting with governor race, but I dont want us to take our eyes off two key position that are so important to Baltimore and the region. First is treasurer position, who by way sit on the board of public work. This is were the money decisions is made. Keep that in mind. I would like to see some one from Baltimore at the table. Next up, Baltimore city state attorney race, if anyone has earn the right to be fired is Gregg Bernstein. Let me count the ways. When there were mass arrest of young Afro American.for quality of life crime. There were a sense of outrages. But recently, Baltimore Sun investigation uncovered that SAO had held defendant in some cases for 5 weeks without bring them before a judicial officer or a judge. Which may not seem to be that harmless. But everyone has a constitutional right to be brought within 24 hours. Mr. Bernstein has not engaged the community nor has he has shown to be fair and objective when clearly a set of independent investigators or counselors should have address some of these police related misconduct cases. His highly tout special investigative unit has been held in contempt of court for improper conduct. Wittiness tampering) sources are saying that their is highly controversial lawsuit that will be filed against mr. Bernstein office. His record on violent repeat offenders is a joke. We have a serial rapist who by the way has been tried 4 time without a conviction. In spite of DNA evident. Im outrage to find out that a baby life may have been spared had not his office decided not to plea bargain with VRO. Just maybe Carter Scott the little kid in cherry hill wouldnt be dead. Or maybe chase Capone wouldnt had another opportunity to kill a young man in cold blood in front of his pregnant girl friend. In summary, as we remember the Baltimore Colt leaving town.
