Im out here in the middle of farm land trying to enjoy the last F E W days of my vacation and my friendly neighborhood rooster is going O F F with his crow song. Thanks for natures alarm clock. The only problem is roosters start crowing before sunrise and they dont just crow one time. Crowing roosters arent a new thing. Peter denied Jesus before the rooster crowed three times (Mark 14:72). This is a picture of how someone can be your friend one day and before you wake up they can be your enemy. I was just in a situation where someone I know had a conversation with me one evening and didnt speak to me at A L L the very next evening. I was truly surprised at the snubfest until the rooster crowed this morning. See the roosters predawn crow is to mark their territory. This signifies to me that before I get out of the bed I should mark my day with praise. I must acknowledge the King and the entrance of a new day. My predawn expression of the rising sun and the opening of my eyes should be joy. How can one deny He who has caused us to rise? People may snub you, even deny you but before the rooster crows three times give The Lord some praise. Jesus was denied by one of his closest companions. He knew Peter would deny him and even called it out but yet Jesus forgave him. Not matter who denies you, dont let the sun go down on your anger and dont let the sun rise without your praise. Mark your territory of each new day with joy and gladness. Speak to all creatures because He created each one. Praise His marvelous works. Crow like a rooster! Cock-a-doodle-DO!
