Im over here in face drenching tears. This pledge is EPIC. They went there with an intention, stood on their feet for hours, slept outside, rode on uncomfortable bus rides from across state lines. My father was there, our uncle Dough was there (Tawana) who were both beautiful intelligent souls, deceased so young (50 yr generation). And then Tawana, her sister, Mom and I would 2 years later attend the Million Woman March in the same sacrifice. Driving on the road in the pitch black A.M. for the sake of unity. Little did we know we were being charted for a downfall. But I got back up! We did. There was a cast being put in order at the same time they shouted each pledge. Where are these men today?
