Im personally tagging everyone in this so that I can explain to the world how amazing you, our backers, are for what I am about to share. Its lengthy so the world can know the full story... ....When I dreamt up the wild idea of starting a Kickstarter for this project a few months ago, I told myself, First, remain modest and be grateful dude. I set the Goal low because really, I just wanted to know, is this something that people would even want to enjoy?. Sure, I knew if I set it high, people would come through simply because I have amazing friends & family who just would want to help! But I wanted those to back this who really wanted in on this with me, ya know? So on I went, through the emotional trials and tribulations of a crazy campaign like this... from building it (confused) to launching it (nervous) to managing it (both elated as well as sad)... to now, best of all - cherishing it. It was a wild winding ride. Yet, with only 6 hours left, it (kck.st/1vnYIgd) just crossed over $9,000 - not including the backers who are off the books adding $100s more!. I AM FLOORED! Its beyond my expectations even if I always push my ambitions on before truly enjoying the moment. Here in the final hours... Im pausing to enjoy this - what you all have given me. I feel so incredibly special & honored that so many of you felt this was something uniquely worthwhile enough that it interested you in wanting to be a part of it! It wasnt because I NEEDED your help, but rather you WANTED to share this with me. This is arguably the best #Halloween of my life and Im not even dressing up (which is a favorite of mine), but I may have to get a fiery buzz at least in celebration of this momentous occasion As I sit in Oaxaca, Mexico experiencing the true Dia del Muertos celebrations, I pour this mezcal that I found from a third generation, 60-year-old roadside family owned factory a few days ago that I swerved off the road and stumbled upon while exploring this rich region.
