Im pining for the clock to turn back to early Saturday evening at the Gaelic Voices festival. That astonishing buttery voice of Iarla Ó Lionaird and such generous, spirited accompaniment-to-die-for from Steve Cooney.... still in a trance and its Tuesday!! Havent enjoyed a performance so lovely, so moving, so warm as this for many a year. Thanks so much James McDonald for organising it and a big thank you too for including (Meitheal Cheoil / St Patricks Troupe in the programme and for celebrating the younger Gaelic voices along with the very famous (never mind that they are all still at school)! Thanks from all of us, with Caitlin Kelly, Cathleen Ruby Bradford, Finn Doherty, Finn Lilburn, Joe Joe McCann, Erin Kelly, Rachel Isherwood, Flynne Biggs, Niamh Haran, Coral Haran, Eoin Griffin, Sean Griffin, Kathy Walton and Derry Daly.
