Im pleased to report that my Blu-Ray releases of DRACULA (1931) and the Cary Roan Signature Collection edition of WHITE ZOMBIE (1932) finally arrived in the mail today. Much to my disappointment, I need to purchase a HDMI cable to be connected to my PlayStation 3 video game system in order to view the reportedly superior prints these editions offer. In addition to hastily buying an HDMI cable this week, Ill also buy the ingredients for a homemade gourmet pizza to consume over a double feature of these two Lugosi films. Ill have this pizza over an excellent bottle of Argentinian Malbec wine--not over a extra bottle of Bela Lugosi Malbec wine, however--in order to make my evening a small event. When it comes to pizza, I prefer simple yet elegant ingredients like jarred pesto sauce and pine nuts.
