Im pretty damn sure young feral Teabag has been shot by an air rifle or perhaps pellet gun? The circle looks just like Rosie when she was shot 6 years ago poor darling :-( Teabags had a weird head injury some days but was a largish area that looked like gravel rash, wed looked as best as we could but couldnt make it out. Last night the patch fell loose, skin & fur jammed together & revealed the all too familiar circle on his head :-( Its just above his eye, he is a bit clumsy for a cat, wed put it down to that, but kept reflecting on its cause. Been on the phone to vets & CPL but couldnt catch him to get him in today damnit :-( The CPL local lady knows me very well, my vets can vouch for me & the CPL have agreed to assist with the veterinary costs as much they can via the Feral Fund. With my 7 cats, my B&B guests, Cat Cafe patrons & the very big neutering campaign carried out here over the years, its hardly surprising Im known :-D For sweet little Teabag I am very much hoping, its not still in, the hole has a strange coating to it, or that theres splinters inside. Hes (obviously) had a behaviour change plus moves his head away afraid of touch with Has to hurt.Poor little guy, hes only known fuss & touch just over a year :-( When Rosie was shot it hit her spine & had it been millimetres either side would have paralysed her & prevented her coming home for help :-( She gets nerve pain there sometimes :-( Poor Teabag I wonder what his legacy will be :-(
