Im probably going to start a war but, I read a comment earlier in reply to a Spanish comment wrong country! I had two great grandmas that didnt speak a word of English and my dad had to learn English in school... So for all you that dont know, the US does not have an official language, so talk in any damn language you want! The United States does NOT have an official language, yes American English is the most spoken. Since the 1965 Immigration Act, Spanish is the second most common language in the country, and is spoken by approximately 35 million people. The United States holds the worlds fifth largest Spanish-speaking population, outnumbered only by Mexico, Spain, Colombia, and Argentina.
