Im re-posting this status to bring you an update; I had about 10 people ask what were we going to do about this situation. I had only 2 respond to the call!! I want to say a huge thank you to the 2 ladies who helped, the power is back on, the family is getting back on there feet and the Lord is receiving a lot of well earned praise!! The thing I find very sad and disheartening, is so little help from Gods people So many act concerned but when it comes to getting involved the numbers are few. I know most dont know how to help or have the time to help, but this ministry makes it easy for you. We know where the needs are and are lacking the resources to do all we can. I pray that everyone would search their hearts ,ask the Lord, and FOLLOW THROUGH with what He tells you!! There is a world of hurt in your own back yards, please help us to bring them the Great Healer--- { A lot of people have asked me What are you going to do about the family that you wrote about last week? The sad truth is that as a ministry, we see this stuff a lot. As an organization, we dont have the funds or the financing to help all the people we see weekly, as volunteers are numbers are small and we are already giving all the time, talent, and treasure (money) that we can; but you guys as the body of Christ, DO have the funds, financing, and ability to help this family!!!You have all the resources to show the love of Jesus and bless this familys socks off. If anyone wants to help this family get their power back on you can send the money to JH, ear mark it for this family,and I will make sure it gets to them. Now we dont give cash to anyone, but I will make sure the money goes to getting the power on. So now I leave it to you, if you thought you would like to help this family but you didnt know how,Im giving you this option.God and I will do our part the rest is up to you.
