Im reading an essay by Canadian Jungian Analyst, Marion Woodman - TopicsExpress

Im reading an essay by Canadian Jungian Analyst, Marion Woodman called, The Role of the Feminine in the New Era. She teaches something that really resonates with me. She tells about one of her analysands meditating daily on the meaning of soul in matter (mater... mother), and dreaming about the energy that can permeate flesh, flower, fish and fowl. She writes that we must unlock the illusions in our bodies and begin to feel the light moving through every molecule of our being, until our whole body is one living essence through which we can perceive that same essence in all living things. This conscious recognition, she says, will make you weep for the ravaging of the planet on which we live and for the ravaging of the human body in our culture, the desecration of the temple of the Holy Spirit. We will experience a necessary opening of the heart to suffering. Gorgeous and painful all at the same time=growth. Woodman wrote about this in 1989. Ahead of her time
