Im really REALLY annoyed that our local Woollies have decided to remove the organic bacon from their shelves (Springbrook Valley) so Ive fired off an email to them asking why. They still stock the organic ham, however Im also annoyed that Springbrook make two different hams, one is organic with nitrates, and the other one is nitrate free but with conventionally raised animals, why cant they just combine the two and make the almost perfect product (for ham eaters!)??? A very proactive girlfriend of mine has already rung and asked Springbrook this question but to no real satisfaction as I recall. Im also annoyed that my husband went for a checkup today at the doctors and was told his BMI was too high (just), his waist measurement was too big (just) and he was at risk because of these findings. This is a 52 year old man who has just completed the half ironman in Busselton, has no visible fat on him, is and has never been on any medications at all, has an awesome diet (if I do say so myself!), handles stress more beautifully than anyone I know and exercises every single day without fail!!! Im giving MYSELF high blood pressure this morning haha!!! Sorry for the grizzle, just had to get it off my chest. Nothing a gorgeous organic home made coffee and a run wont fix!! Gonna drag the kids out on this one, thatll go down a treat. ;) At least the weather is PERFECT for it! :) :) :)
