Im really annoyed, and dont know where to vent, so forgive me, but I have just seen on a Lab page a picture of a puppy, about 8 weeks, asleep half way up the stairs. Everyone is saying how cute it is and their dogs do this and blah blah blah.... LABRADORS SHOULD NOT CLIMB STAIR UNTIL 9 MONTHS!!!! All these dogs are going to have joint problems and no one is listening to me when I say so :( What sort of person doesnt want the best for their dog? I was strictly forbidden by my Labs breeder to let him upstairs without being carried, and also told to limit his walks until 9 months, all in no uncertain terms. I really feel for these dogs, I really do :(
