Im really disappointed at this point and must let the truth be known. My mother Gussie Romero and Gene Romero was married for 20 years. To me and many others, they were the perfect couple. A few months ago my mother was diagnosed with Short Term Memory/ Alzhiemers Disease. Two weeks ago my mother called me devastated and said Gene wanted a Divorce and told her not to tell anyone. Well, that didnt happen, I went speak to him and asked him why he wanted a dvorce and he said she NAGGED TO MUCH. He wanted her to move out her home that my father(Don Gautreaux) gave to her (paid for) 25 years ago and hed pay her $1,000.00 a month rent. Well, that wasnt going to happen and when he realized it, he told her he was moving out the next day which was really confusing to her. I really didnt want this to become public this way but now I hear he is telling our side of the family, they split sleeping under the sheets. No Buddy its called Divorce
