Im really enjoying spending time with Bethanee Johnson-Slover and Teleigh! Laughter, once again fills the house! They have observed a significant change in my personality and how I am as a parent. Instead of being irritable, Im patient. Instead of isolating, Im active (as much as I can be after a major surgery). Instead of yelling, I converse in a positive tone. Instead of dont touch that, I say lets rearrange it or play with it. Im tolerant not angry. I engage and not ignore. We play board games, play card games, put together puzzles, paint together, play dolls, read books, go shopping, watch movies together instead of separately. Im not annoyed, not wrathful, not temperamental, not unreasonably strict, not neglectful, but rather humorous, warm-hearted, relaxed, helpful, and grateful! I have learned and grown so much through the program of Narcotics Anonymous!
