Im really facing a serious challenge was diagnosed with ITP on the 27th of January with a platelet count of 10. I have been on prednisone with no luck just a fair share of side effects counts remained low 2-3. Was given Polygam which ddnt work. I completed the Rituximab treatment last week 7 march count is still at 1. Is there any hope in sight? Now the hemo wants to admit me for splenectomy. How long do you have to wait for the Rituximab to start taking effect?
