......Im retired AT&T here in Texas. On Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, I called our AT&T benefits ctr. (877-722-0020) to process/confirm my enrollment for 2015. A lady named Gaby answered with a very strong foreign accent. Warning: RED FLAG! ...RED FLAG!...I verified w/her that this was the AT&T Benefit Ctr.? She said yes. I asked if her call center was here in the U.S.? She said yes, I am U.S. ...I asked Gaby where in the U.S.? She said Guam. I said, Oh, so your call center is not here in the continental U.S. but instead a territory of the U.S., Guam, Puerto Rico? She said yes. I asked her to please transfer me to a call center here in our continental U.S. Gaby advised me that she couldnt guarantee Id reach a call center in the states. Gabys first attempt sent me to Nicole w/AT&T Benefit Ctr. in Texas. Yay!!! Finally! ...Lesson learned...listen to their initial voice/accent. =O
