Im right now watching on History Channel Lincoln talking about Lincolns Presidency, they keep on saying The White House, when during The White House Existents from 1801 until 1901 it was called the Executive Mansion. When President Theodore Roosevelt change the name during the time when The White House was going to be upgraded President Roosevelt changed it from The Executive Mansion to The White House in 1901. Same thing they said that John Wilkes Booth spoke with the Confederate Secret Service when their was no such thing as the Secret Service until the day Lincoln was shot, President Lincoln made that new department in the early Morning of April 14th 1865, but the Secret Service wasnt established until July 5th 1865. Man the History Channel needs to get their facts straighten out.
