Im selling my 87 MK2 type19! The car has just had a bottom half respray as there were a few scabby bits on the arches and it had a big dent in one of the rear doors, during the respray I had the arches rolled too, there is not a spot of rust on the body anywhere now and it looks awesome! This car has so many cool little bits and pieces, I realise its only going to appeal to a minority with it not being a GTI, but to those others, who appreciate rarity, this will make you moist! MK1 sirrocco steering wheel with wolfsburg crest on the horn push Wolfsburg badges on the front wings in place of the indicators (not an mot fail due to the age of the car) Re-chromed original 7 slat grill All red rear light clusters (have some standard ones if you prefer) Lowered on coilovers Rear camber shims fitted, personally if i were to keep the car, i would remove them, looked great when i had it on zero offset weller wheels but on the more standard size wheel/tyre combo it makes it a bit fidgety in a straight line, corners, on the other hand..... Original VW mudflaps (try finding those!) Original VW rubber floor mats in the front Original Panasonic stereo, which works, even the tape player! Speakers are crap but hey, it was the 80s, so was the music! Comes complete with a Jackson 5 tape MK1 wing mirror on the drivers side, blanked off on the passenger side BMW E30 BBS wheels (ra or rz, cant remember) All original blue interior (apart from the steering wheel), interior is in perfect condition with no wear to the seats, rear bench doesnt even look like its been sat in White headlining also in perfect condition, no sags, rips, tears etc Pressed plates, I do have the original dealer plates but theyre starting to look a bit shabby Im pretty sure thats not everything, it never is. The car has just been serviced and has a recent Bosch battery fitted Dont be put off by the automatic gearbox, it kinda suits the character of the car and does work really well, this car isnt about blasting from a to b, its about cruising to the shows where, with a polish, you could potentially win a couple of prizes, it is THAT clean. Couple that to the rarity factor and you wont lose money on this car. there could be a bit of movement on price but dont take the pi**, Im not desperate to sell so silly offers will be ignored. Come and have a look, if youre after something different to the scores of GTIs and Drivers then this could be for you. (ps, sorry for the massive ad :P)
