Im sharing this video because I BELIEVE IN THE GOOD OF THE COMMON CORE PROJECT and this video can help explain many things about it which are good, even though there is a negative stance taken on it by the presenters of this video. Unfortunately, you will only be able to see the good in the Common Core project by listening to those who are against it. I believe that something drastic needs to be done for our education because America is in terrible decline from NOT changing! There is always a fear of change that exists in many people, but if America stays where it is, there will be no hope for our future. It is clear that there can be MANY abuses taken from the good intentions of the creators of this. But I was raised by abusive parents who beat me horrifically and then enslaved me every day until I went to bed at night: It may seem like everything is all okay for the people who have it made in life; BUT HOW IS THIS FAIR TO A MINORITY OF CHILDREN WHO ARE ROBBED OF EDUCATION AND ABUSED BY THEIR PARENTS? If you had the ability to see the UNFAIRNESS of life through my eyes, you would clearly be all behind the Common Core idea. How fair is it to be the only child who is beaten and abused and then enslaved while all of the other children have wonderful lives with parents who support their education and they speed ahead in schools while every day, you are bullied and beaten up at school and then psychotically beaten and abused by your parents? If you lived through my life, you would clearly know why I take this point of view. I do value opposing views because if Im wrong about anything, I would certainly like to be informed about it. But the idea that life is okay for the majority of students and that there are only a few children who are abused by their parents and bullied at school is EXACTLY WHAT IS SO UNFAIR ABOUT IT!
